  1. Oct. 30, 2023Get Your Flu Vaccine - Starting October 30

    Seasonal influenza outbreaks occur in Canada from late Fall through the Winter months. Campus Wellness, Health Services is pleased to offer the flu vaccine once again through appointment only for all UW Students (and student’s families if registered with the Family Health Clinic), Employees, Alumni and Retirees starting Monday, October 30th.

    Seasonal influenza outbreaks occur in Canada from late Fall through the Winter months.     Those who are considered high-risk will be able to get their flu vaccine starting Tuesday October 10. High Risk Eligibility is as follows:

    Indigenous students at the University of Waterloo are invited to join this drop-in group sessions for the purpose of community connection, mutual support, and artistic expression through collaging. No artistic experience is required. Snacks and supplies will be provided.

    Gender Journeys is a supportive psychoeducational group specifically designed to support gender diverse (trans, non-binary, two-spirit, questioning) UW Students. This is a person, supportive and affirming group opportunity to explore important topics that can be key for gender wellness. The group is facilitated by Washington Silk, a counsellor with lived experienced.

  3. Apr. 3, 2024As straight as the ring road – a Walk and Talk, Outdoor, Therapeutic Group for Queer and Trans Students

    As Straight as the Ring Road is a social, walking group for all Queer and Trans Students that incorporates elements of mindfulness into each walk.

    Join us if you enjoy connecting with others, tuning into yourself and the world around you, moving your body and getting out into nature.  

    Dress and bring footwear appropriate for the weather. We may visit various places across the campus. Please contact the facilitator for any accommodation requirements/notes.
